Jenny Riley - Assistant Parish Clerk

By the 20th September 2018 Jenny had been the assistant Clerk at Pinxton Parish Council for 30 years, a fantastic achievement and landmark. Jenny has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Parish Council and especially on the burial and cemetery side of things.
She is a fully qualified CiLCA Clerk (Certificate in Local Council Administration).

Lisa Powell – Parish Clerk

Lisa has been a Parish Clerk for more than 16 years. She was the Clerk for Hunstanton in Norfolk until 2018. She holds the CiLCA qualification and has a wealth of knowledge on Local Government Legislation, she hopes to support the council as it goes from strength to strength in the community. Currently in her spare time Lisa is volunteering at the Covid-19 Vaccination Centre. She also has five small rescue dogs which she adores.

Wayne Richards - Handyman/Groundsman

Wayne and Gary are the two grounds maintenance lads and handymen for the Parish Council, with over 45 years service between them. They carry out a range of functions for the Parish and work longer hours in summer and shorter hours in the winter under an annualised hours scheme.

Gary Pepperday - Handyman/Groundsman

Wayne and Gary are the two grounds maintenance lads and handymen for the Parish Council, with over 45 years service between them. They carry out a range of functions for the Parish and work longer hours in summer and shorter hours in the winter under an annualised hours scheme.

Jeannette Allen - Caretaker

Jeannette is the Caretaker for the Village Hall and it is her job to set up the hall(s), and dismantle afterwards following the regular functions
& the weddings and funeral teas which come along occasionally. The regime of cleaning and maintaining a clean and hygienic premises is down to Jeanette and the assistant caretaker, Peter Harris who also locks and unlocks the facilities down at the welfare, namely the 5 a-side football and the MUGA.

Peter Harris - Assistant Caretaker

Peter is the assistant caretaker at the village hall, and also provides access to the facilities at the Miners Welfare such as the 5 a-side football and the MUGA.
